TVO show called Life-Sized Cities
Available on line at TVO.org. Episodes on Cape Town, Mexico City, Copenhagen, Milan so far. The host is a cycling advocate from Copenhagen and author of a book in the Ottawa Public Library called Copenhagenize: The Definitive Guide to Global Bicycle Urbanism .
It is an interesting show about social change activities from the ground up. Plus a nice show for checking out cities you might have thought of visiting.
Multi-day tours in 2019
If you are planning a multi-day tour in 2019, please let me know (email@example.com) so we can start to put tentative dates of events in the calendar and in Bike Shorts. I will not be organizing a trip to Niagara, but most of the work has already been done so someone (moderately brave) could take it on.
The club has done trips to Ottawa Valley (Barry’s Bay, Pembroke), Kingston, Mt. Tremblant, Niagara, Hudson to Montreal, Le P'tit Train du Nord, Lake Placid and other locations. Peterborough is close by. Just look at a map ;)
