Popular Rides

Here are two rides that are favourites with our members.

[Start = Britannia Park trolley station] Cycle east on bike paths alongside the Ottawa River to the Champlain bridge. Cross the Champlain bridge to the Quebec side and continue past Mousette Park to the Gatineau Park entrance on Taché Blvd. Climb to Champlain Lookout along Gatineau Pkwy and Champlain Pkwy. Descend on Fortune Pkwy to the north loop. Stop in Old Chelsea. Return to Britannia Park along Notch Rd and Mine Rd, back over the Champlain bridge, and on bike paths alongside the Ottawa River. (L2, L3, or L4/L5 - 65 km)

[Start: Last Duel Park (Craig St) at the public docks in Perth] Scenic, quiet, rural cycling roads, with some very special sections. This is a route that would be fun to ride fast, but really you should take it slow and enjoy the incredible scenery and character of the Rideau Lakes and Canal system. (L2, L3, or L4/L5 - 75 km)
