2. Safety Tip from Monna – Report road hazards to the appropriate city councillor
When you encounter road hazards, poor road surface conditions, badly placed grates, speed bumps or anything that renders cycling more dangerous: Now is the time to REPORT them to your City of Ottawa Councillor. A map is contained on the Safety Page of the KNBC website with current Councillor contact info. Use "Safety Hazard to Cyclists" in your Subject Heading, outline the concern, (impact on cyclists' safety), and if possible include a picture with the location coordinates. Take the time to ask them where they stand on sharing the road, cyclist and motorist safety education and safety infrastructure.

Also, copy Robin Bennet at robin.bennett@ottawa.ca (Project Manager, Cycling Program, Transportation Planning, Planning and Growth Management Branch, Infrastructure Services and Community Sustainability, City of Ottawa) and 311@ottawa.ca.

All he needs is short "broad strokes" feedback -good, bad or indifferent :-)  Please send your comments on the Club RWGPS account to pmacdowall@icloud.com
