KNBC FREE club ride

Ever wonder how much fun it would be to explore new bike paths, neighbouring towns and good coffee stops while getting your fresh air and exercise, with a fun and social group of friends?  Well the Kanata-Nepean Bicycle Club may be just the thing for you!

We will be hosting an Open (Free) club ride followed by a Social/Open House at the Royal Oak, Centrepointe for prospective members.

When:  28 May 2022 @ 10:00 am
Starting Location: Royal Oak Parking Lot (Centrepointe)
Ride Description: This will be a leisurely ride of approximately 25 km starting from the Royal Oak parking lot at 10:00 am. We will explore local bike routes, heading down the Pinecrest Creek path to the Ottawa River, cycling past Westboro Beach and Remic Rapids (a good spot to check out the Inukshuks).

Just before we hit the War Museum we’ll take a right up the Trillium Pathway, crossing Carling Avenue (where the new hospital is planned), and turn right onto Prince of Wales Drive.  From there we continue up to the roundabout taking the first right into the Experimental Farm. We then meander through the farm roads and the Experimental Farm Pathway and continue back to Woodroffe Avenue and back to the Pinecrest Creek Pathway. A few more turns and we're back at the parking lot ready for some nibblies and a beverage.

Social / Open House
Nibblies will be provided following the ride, courtesy of KNBC. Members will be there to meet and greet and answer your questions.
